I saw him fight here in general Santos during the Pacquiao cup last February 2006.

His birds are awesome. So hard to kill...

the birds he used in his personal entry "flying gold" were all sagupaan bred roundhead hatches, lemon roundheads and ofcourse sweaters. Besides PA scoring 7pts there were there other entries with perfect scores. I'm still waiting for the report from davao so I could also show it here..And yes the combination of sagupaan roosters and Mr. Topacio's Batia roosters was solid ending with 6 wins and 1 loss.

Congrats to PA and Jun Topacio and the 3 other champions.

PA's championship fight was against Claude Bautista's entry. He had a double fight with Bebot Uy's too that PA both won. He also won against Sonny Lagon's entry.


But one of the champions bought the gamecocks he used from Bebot Uy. What's interesting with this entry is the gamecocks he bought were rejects with Bebot Uy's standards. The owner of this particular entry is a small backyard breeder that can't afford to buy a chicken for more than 3,000.00 pesos each, which is the price he paid for Bebot Uy's chickens. But according to Ton Isaac, a former neighbor of the champion, palagi talagang nananalo ang taong ito. Sinuswerte palagi sa mga laban niya. Probably its not really pure luck. He might be a good handler too.

Next year, I am sure that PA and Jun Topacio will do their very best to win the 7-cock International Candelaria derby, the big one that has continously evaded PA's conquests.

Great win to Idol, Mr. Patrick Antonio.

Gene Batia is from Mississippi. I remember seeing some of his fowl faught by my friend the great JGT. Very beautiful lemon hackled Sweaters.
