No offense but, I know a few guys who have gotten these over the years. They was not that great in their opinions. The ones I have now the same guys who had Bob's blood have these also. I am not taking anything away from Bob He did great with them. These I just feel are better. They hit more with more power and are excellent cutters. This is speaking for historical purposes only.

They look to be stout as a bull... that's part of what makes me like the looks of a bird... and those looked very good!

I second that Mark. I think those Murphy's are my favorite. Hopefully I can breed from what I have and keep um going.

Re: Murphy GameFowl....
I have Murphy Hatch. They are yellow and green legged peacomb. I am raising 13 stags right now that I will be getting rid of. They are 4 months old and look nice, the man I got mine from got them 10 years ago from a man in Cal that had them for years and traveled and showed when legal.

Re: Murphy GameFowl....
"IF" I have done my homework correctly , Murphys were very instrumentle in the development and success of C.C. Kelsos and Radios , correct ?? , also used by Walter Kelso himself to develope his own line of gamefowl.

Re: Murphy GameFowl....
You are correct Desert!! I have been told that Richard Harris has some Murphy fowl that have been with his family for a very long time. The only problem is that I do not think that he sells them. If I am not mistaking he appears on last years world slasher video.

Richard always shows decent chickens. The only problem i see when they bring them to PI and fight in the LK is they lack the smartness.I guess he loves those roosters that will go straight to the other rooster and pummel them till they kiss the ground.Again, Richard is one of the guys that made "Buckwheat entry" famous back then- majority of the lines that they used were those WHs.

I see a mistake I made. They been bred with no outside blood and kept pure. Sorry that was my mistake.

desert rat i am considering taking a good proven murphy cock and breeding him over one of my radio hens and see if it works. then use this line to freshen up my radio family.mine have not had any outside blood put in them since i have own them.
i was told by j. jumper that murphy blood was the base blood used to make his radios. yfis

How about a Gaff maker from MS. When Bob died, his wife gives this Gaff maker a trio of Murphy per Bob's instruction.

Norland Blount have some real nice murphys from Carl smith, I'm not certain if he's selling any but they're as good murphys as you'll get.
